'I had one of your units fitted to my Triumph Trophy in 1993 from new. Since then I have covered 38,000 miles. The chain is still the original Triumph unit and is even now showing only 60% wear. I think the performance is even more impressive when you consider that most of the miles covered have been hard and fast often with a pillion. Consider if you will that I have just completed a 12,000 mile round trip from New York to Alaska and back. This trip included deserts, death valley and the 'top of the world highway', which is 150 miles of unmade roads of permafrost, deep gravel, corrugated concrete and thick dust. I will be changing the bike soon for another Triumph the first accessory on it will be a Scottoiler.'
Mr Gordon Hunter, Essex
"I put a Scottoiler on my trusty VT250, which takes me 150K's a day to work and back during the summer, at open road speeds. I was eating a DiD 'O' ring chain every 15,000 or so k's due to the dust/dry/wet/hot/cold (it can be any of them) here in New Zealand during the summer. Especially on the rural roads I ride on every day. It's now been on for about 10,000 k's and the chain is as good as new. I recommend your product to everyone I know who rides a bike. Great product, excellent value for money, and I don't collect road crap inside the side casing anymore. Cheers!'
Mr Chris Hellyar, New Zealand
'In four months I've completed 18,000 miles on one 'O' ring chain and it's still going strong!' 'What an incredible difference! 37,000 miles dispatching out of the original chain and sprockets on my XT600ZE!'
'Yeah a likely story' I thought as I read quotes like the above of the Scottoiler that had been fitted to my new Honda VFR 750FV. Well, you will not believe this but my VFR has done 14,000 miles in 15 months (including 1,000 miles of very hard riding on Honda's MAC course) and I have yet to even adjust the chain. Previously on bikes like my GSX400T, XBR500 and other bikes of similar power I was lucky to get 8,000 miles before chain and sprockets were shot, even with 'O' ring types and copious quantities of gear box oil."
Mr Andrew Frid Honda VFR Review
'I fitted the Scottoiler easily and quickly and have to say that it's a great bit of kit. Clearly the difference in using a traditional chain spray, that when riding normally ends up oiling your tyres as well as your chain, the Scottoiler does provide a marked improvement in just that area alone. But, for me the real advantage is in the chain being lubricated as required, where otherwise using the more manual spray method this type of lubrication could be and is often forgotten about.
Many thanks again and give my very best regards to Mr Scottoiler himself for having invented a very cool piece of equipment.'
Mr Alan D Hinett, England
'After 8500 miles on my 600 bandit I still haven't had to touch my chain. The Scottoiler is the best thing I've bought in a long time!'
